Lurgan 2s travelled to Carrickfergus on Saturday 12^th March to play Greenisland 2s in the league.

Lurgan 2nds avenged a league defeat from the start of the season with an excellent performance against neighbours Armagh 2nds. The revenge was all the sweeter for the result being in the Irish Junior Cup.

 Lurgan 2nds played host to Victorian’s 2nds this week in the league. Before the match began, both teams stood together in the middle of the pitch to join in a minutes silence in memory of Charlene Barr.
 Lurgan 2s were determined to continue their winning streak but the fact that Victorians have yet to win a match all season, did not mean that Lurgan were going to have things all their own way.

Lurgan 2nds win the first round of the McConnell shield

 Lurgan 2nds travelled to C.I.Y.M.S. to meet Grosvenor 1sts in the first round of the McConnell shield. It was very evident that Lurgan were demonstrating the better quality of hockey in the first half keeping possession of the ball and making good use of the short passing game.

Lurgan 2s beat Randalstown 2-0

Lurgan 2s met Randalstown 2s for a mid-week fixture at Antrim forum on Wednesday night 27th October. Lurgan took control of the game from the first whistle by playing a short ball game which denied the opposition the chance to get the upper hand.

Lurgan 2nds beat Pegasus
Lurgan 2s played host to their nemesis Pegasus 2nds on Saturday 9th October at Lurgan Junior High and proved to be the better team on this occasion.
