Following a months of organising events, fund raising and generous donations from sponsors, the trip to Cape Town became a reality. Already thinking about the task in hand, supporting the township children of Cape Town in learning and improving their hockey technique, each girl had to sacrifice a few Kgs of vital hair straightener and lotion / potion space to bring some hockey clothing and equipment which will be given to the S. African children.

The main coaching activities get underway on Monday and www.lurganladieshockey.com will keep you up to date with their progress. Each day a diary and photo gallery will be added to the website around 10pm BST.
