Lurgan Ladies has become one of only 16 sporting clubs in all of Northern Ireland to be awarded the Sports Council for Northern Ireland, Junior Gold club Award.

This award is only presented to those clubs deemed to have the essential elements of a quality club. Such clubs strive to ensure the safety and development of young people in sport by:
