Nikki Quinn scored a hat-trick and Louise Murray picked up two, in a fine 5-nil win. Lisa Costley in nets for Lurgan was never troubled throughout, her back four capably dealing with any through balls.

Again Lurgan's strength was their passing and pace and the only lesson to take away from Saturdays game is to play to your own standard and not drop to that of your opposition.  Sustain this standard and bombard your opponent as when you go 1 goal up - the game doesnt stop there.

This week the twos head back to Edenvilla, against Ports seconds, in the second round of the McConnell Shield, pass-back at 2.30pm.
